About Us
Gramma's House, is a non-profit organization that serves as a safe haven for newborns, children and teens. Children whom are unwanted, neglected, and homeless have Gramma’s House to ensure safety, essential necessities, and transportation to and from school. Gramma’s House, works directly with the state of New Jersey and the Division of Youth and Family Services as a resource to establish safety for children in Essex County.

Mission Statement
Gramma’s House, mission is to ensure stability, comfort, and normalcy to the thousands of child abuse, neglect, and homeless calls a year in the state of New Jersey. Grandma’s House, will be responsible for safety, housing, and mentorship through strong community building and education assistance such as tutoring, study hall, and positive reinforcement.

Problem Statement
According to national research and data, child abuse, neglect, and homelessness among children is a national concern and unfortunately, the numbers and statistics are rising according to U. S News and World Reports. Furthermore, according to the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office, Essex County is responsible for 1/8 of the child abuse and neglect cases in the state of New Jersey. Children who experience childhood trauma, displacement, and homelessness have major problems with the law and unfortunately matriculate through the criminal justice system as a juvenile and adult.
In order to build strong communities, lower juvenile crimes, and homeless it is imperative to ensure safety to Essex County children, promote education, safe housing, and counseling. Gramma’s House, LLC can join the
